reflection on the past year

in this blog i will be reflecting about how this year has gone and what skills i have learned and also what skills and attributes i may have improved or might have to improve next year.

firstly my reading has improved this year as i can read the criteria of my assignments and know exactly what needs to be done, however i do hope to improve this to a further level next year.

if im honest i may need to improve my listening skills next year, as it is very easy to get distracted in a classroom. i prefer when the teacher tells me on a one-to-one basis, as i listen carefully on instructions of what i need to do.

my typing has stayed at a high level, i do not need to improve massivley as i am quite good at it. however during the break before next year my typing might not be as good when i come back because i am not using a computer every day.

my web design skills has not improved and may need improving next year, this is because we havnt done web design this year. This means i have not done web design since secondary school so i may need to get used to web design before i jump straight into it next year.

i have improved a lot on spreadsheets, i am now able to use access, make tables, use formulas, convert data, make charts and do much more. i am happy with my progress with spreadsheets.

my hard working skill wasnt very good at the start of the year as i like many other students wasnt aware of the amount of work that is needed to be done, however lately i have started to concentrate more on my work and make sure i get at least a PASS so i can go onto next year and be prepared to go for DISTINCTIONS in most units.

my reading as a whole has got better, and this is good because i can now read more information clearly.
my listening has also improved as i can learn new things during lessons. my typing has definately got better because i can type quick and fluently.

i am hoping to continue to improve on these skills and attributes.

Concentrating

i will make sure i can concentrate on assignments in class without being distracted.

i am going to catch up on all my assignements during the next few weeks so i am up to date.

In this blog i will be looking at my weaknesses in my table of attributes, i will also find out how i am going to go around these weaknesses and how i will make them strengths.
